Ana-Maria Buzatu, the founder of AMB Workshop, paints on wooden spoons figures of peasant girls and boys wearing the traditional costumes from all areas of Romania. The painted clothing and accessories are simplified as the artist kept the most defining elements for each particular region. She also added a personal touch to every piece. The spoons are manually painted with acrylics; after the paint sets, they are varnished for a beautiful finish that will last many years.
