Ana-Maria Buzatu Handpainted Spoon - Man from Banat

7,37 EUR
Wooden spoon hand painted with the traditional costume from Banat. Our recommendation is to use the AMB painted spoons for decorative purposes only; also, keep them away from water and humidity. Each spoon is completely handpainted, so there are not two identical ones. The hair and eye color may differ from the model displayed in the picture.
Average dimensions: length 26-27 cm; width 5-6 cm; weight 35 grame.

Ana-Maria Buzatu, the founder of AMB Workshop, paints on wooden spoons figures of peasant girls and boys wearing the traditional costumes from all areas of Romania. The painted clothing and accessories are simplified as the artist kept the most defining elements for each particular region. She also added a personal touch to every piece. The spoons are manually painted with acrylics; after the paint sets, they are varnished for a beautiful finish that will last many years.
