The symbol of the Flower of Life is considered sacred not only in the traditional Romanian art, but also by other ancient or modern cultures all over the world. To protect themselves from evil, the Romanian peasants used to sculpt or paint the Flower of Life on all important objects, but also on land areas such as the gates, the door of the house or of the church. Behind the Flower of Life and its precise lines are staying dozens of other interconnected symbols like abundance, health, happiness and harmony. The Flower of Life means unity, an infinite source of wisdom.
