„My name is Nicoleta-Claudia Toma and I try to reproduce with my needle on canvas our ancient Romanian symbols. Every time I create a bookmark, I feel humbleness and an emotion hard to describe in words. In these new times that bring an unexpected appetite for tradition, origins and authenticity, I try to capture a complex universe in my little bookmarks. I have named them Sign in Your Book not by accident, but thinking of you, the one who takes the Romanian symbols further, keeping them safe in your books. Out of respect for the environment, these bookmarks are crafted from recycled paper, as well as the envelopes that accompany them. I encourage you to reuse them.”
